Employment Resources, Inc. (ERI) Announces New Executive Director

The ERI Board of Directors is pleased and excited to announce that Beth Wroblewski will be the new Executive Director of Employment Resources, Inc. (ERI) in Madison. After a thorough national search involving over three dozen candidates, ERI Board of Directors President Dale Hopkins announced the hiring of Beth Wroblewski to lead the organization.

Wroblewski has worked in long-term care programs at both a county and state level over the past 25 years. She will begin her work with ERI on May 11, 2015. Hopkins said, “ERI’s mission is to see that people with disabilities have the opportunity to be fully employed. ERI has a dedicated staff and we believe Beth’s leadership will continue to foster and advance this mission.”

Image of Beth Wroblewski As a leader in long-term care, Wroblewski’s career has focused on people with disabilities having opportunities and participation in all aspects of community life, including employment. She is a Certified Public Manager and has received recognition for her work this field as a recipient of the Victor J. Contrucci Outstanding Leadership Award and the Elliot Shaw Award which honors a professional who goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist families of children with disabilities.

“Beth brings great knowledge and passion for supporting people with disabilities,” states Hopkins. “Her demonstrated leadership, respect for diverse populations and perspectives, and management experience will be a valuable asset to ERI and the people we serve.”

Wroblewski has extensive experience working with government agencies and community organizations in Wisconsin to create, build, improve programs and services to people with disabilities, including grant writing, budget development, public speaking and communications, and program development and implementation. In short, Beth Wroblewski has the integrity, passion, knowledge, dedication, thoughtfulness and drive to lead ERI in its quest to advance the employment goals of people with disabilities.

ERI is celebrating its 25th anniversary, which is especially meaningful as 2015 also marks the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Hopkins noted, “ERI is proud to be a part of ensuring that people with disabilities are able to exercise their rights as American citizens including the right to education and employment.” He also acknowledged the talented and hardworking staff at ERI and Theresa Kulow’s work as Interim Executive Director of ERI as critical to reaching this milestone.

ERI provides employment and benefits services, training, and technical assistance to support advancing the employment goals of people with disabilities.
